There is a simple answer to this: - Boon of the year 2021 is “google”. Why! [Read below]

Now let’s talk about some simple explanations for this answer.

What is google?

Now this question looks so ridiculous when you simply think about it. GOOGLE is- Global Organization of Oriented Group Language of Earth. But by chance the name Google is not generated by this full form. It’s created after. And Google is a mistake of the word ‘Googol’ which means ‘A huge number’. And at this time google is a perfect definition of the word “Googol”.

NOW let me tell you some facts which you don’t know about google. And these facts are also taken from google itself ;-)

  1. The original name of google was Backrub.
  2. 3 billion websites are indexed on google. :-0 (That’s why you need SEO to show your content to the audience)
  3. 1/3 of the searches come from smartphones.
  4. Google and its products are banned in China.

So that’s all the important stuff about google which I want to write about. (Wikipedia has a great source for knowing more about google)

Why google is boon for 2021 and after

Now come to the explanatory part of the title question.

In the ’90s if any person had to know about some information out of the course, he had to go to the library and take all the related books to that topic and he/she had to do a manual search for that.

NOW

You just open your smartphone/laptop and do a quick automatic search for that topic and google will tell you everything about that topic and even give you some suggestions related to that topic to build your knowledge wider about that topic.

But one another thing. You read above that Google has more than 3 billion websites on their index. So there is a lot of information out there and Google will give you all the related results about that topic. Then how can you identify which info is good for you? So here comes the next heading of our post.

A great search that points to your solution

Basically, Google has some great algorithms about what you wanna search and what you want from that particular search. But any machine is not that perfect at this time as you want. So some human interfere is also needed for getting some useful information. So here is some TIP which you should try while you do a search on Google.

Use double quotes

Assume that you want to search ‘car sales dataset for power bi’ then Google will show you all the related info about that search like some content that has any of the words from the search. BUT we must want the combination of the words in one article in one place ‘car sales dataset’. Then we just simply surround that phrase with a double-quote and the search will become

car sales dataset for power bi TO “car sales dataset” for power bi

Use the name of the website

Like if you want to search this query in Kaggle.com (A great website for data scientists) then you can simply add the name of the website after that search. Like this:-

car sales dataset for power bi, kaggle.com

Use filetype

And if you want to get only .csv or .xlsx files for this dataset then you have to add a clause after the search.

car sales dataset for power bi filetype:csv

Use intitle

If you want to search only in the title of the document/post/blog then you can simply use another clause for that:-

car sales dataset for power bi intitle:dataset (In this search Google will find all the searches which have ‘dataset’ in the title)

Another reason

Another reason for proving that google is boon is that Google has some great AI and machine learning model which can identify anything and let you know what is this. Like in the latest version of Google search it added another feature in smartphone’s google search which can identify the things which you captured and show you the related pictures out of that picture.

And at last:-

Boon can become a curse BUT till now I am writing this post the

“Boon of Google” > “Curse of Google”
